Weploy, an Australian-based human resources (HR) platform, recently raised $5 million in a funding round from a foreign investor and has officially expanded to Vietnam.

The platform has been successful with a digital-based and rapidly-growing seasonal personnel supply model that is trusted in Australia. With significant investment capital from foreign investors specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystems, the Weploy digital application was officially launched in Vietnam on March 2.

One of its goals is to meet supply and demand of workers in Vietnam, helping both employers and jobseekers with just a few touches on their smartphones. Weploy Vietnam will also accompany investors in research and development and will create business opportunities throughout Asia and Europe.

Mr. Trang Cong Phat, Co-founder and General Director of Weploy Vietnam, said quality, speed, and compliance with legal and operational procedures are advantages when businesses seek seasonal staff at Weploy. "The digital platform is expected to provide personnel for many companies in a number of fields by connecting carefully-selected candidates and providing training in professional skills." He added. "The needs of jobseekers and businesses will be processed quickly, simply, and with maximum time savings."

With advantages in digital technology, Weploy will help Vietnamese businesses handle seasonal spikes in recruitment with a multi-industry candidate ecosystem that has been rigorously assessed for quality. When recruiting seasonal personnel through Weploy, businesses will quickly find bright, high-quality candidates, reducing the burden of recruiting and managing seasonal personnel.

Weploy Vietnam has also been licensed by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to provide counseling, career orientation, and job introductions for employees, together with labor market analysis and forecasting.
