The People's Committee of the north central province of Thanh Hoa has approved a planning project for construction of the Ha Long Industrial Park, located in Ha Trung District and Bim Son Town.

The total study area covers approximately 612.68 ha, including 544 ha for industrial park planning and 68.13 ha of land outside the industrial park.

Under the development orientation, the projected industrial park will follow a multi-industry model, prioritizing the attraction of high-tech industries such as electronics, precision mechanical assembly, and ultra-precision mechanical manufacturing.

This is one of the key projects aimed at realizing the goal of high-tech industrial development, creating breakthroughs in the economic structure of the province's northern region.

Upon completion, the industrial park is expected to create jobs for 21,300 workers, contributing to the socio-economic development of Ha Trung District and Bim Sơn Town, while enhancing the province's competitiveness in attracting investment and promoting sustainable industrial development.
