The Ministry of Construction has officially released a detailed plan, under Decision No. 1211/QD-BXD, to establish a national information system and database dedicated to construction activities across Vietnam.
The comprehensive roadmap outlines a 12-step process, including professional surveys, standardizing user interfaces and functions, system development, and rigorous functional and information security testing.
A critical phase will focus on converting, standardizing, and digitizing initial data, followed by pilot training programs for users.
The ministry has set a timeline with several key milestones for 2025, targeting the completion of professional surveys by July 30, the finalization of local surveys and system construction by August 20, and the digitization of initial data by October 30.
A trial version of the system is scheduled to launch on December 15, with data integration and synchronization with the National Data Center set to begin from December 20.
According to the ministry, this national database is expected to create a foundational platform of transparent, accurate, and timely information, significantly enhancing the efficiency of Government management and operational oversight in the construction sector.
