Customs sector improving online administrative procedures

Trâm Anh -

Set of indicators to be used to assess service quality in customs.

The General Department of Vietnam Customs has directed its units and agencies to follow a government decision outlining a set of indicators on online administrative procedures, with the target of improving public service quality.

The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 766 last June with a set of indicators referencing the administration and quality assessment of services provided to citizens and enterprises in the electronic environment.

There are five component indicators: publicity and transparency; progress and results; dossier digitalization; online service provision; and level of satisfaction.

The maximum points for each indicator are from 18 to 22.

Units with a total mark of 90-100 are ranked excellent, while those receiving less than 50 points are rated as weak.
