Da Nang International Airport has been named among the 10 best regional airports in Asia at the 2023 Skytrax World Airport Awards.

It was also ranked third in the world’s most improved airports. This category recognizes airports with the best performance improvements over the last 12 months.

Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in China was named the most improved in the world, followed by LaGuardia in the US.

The World Airport Awards began in 1999, when Skytrax launched its first global airport customer satisfaction survey. They are regarded as a quality benchmark for the world airport industry, assessing customer service and facilities in over 500 airports.

Da Nang International Airport is currently the third-largest in Vietnam. It welcomed 15.5 million passengers in pre-Covid 2019.
