Central Da Nang city has attracted a foreign electronics manufacturer to the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park.

Foxlink International Investment Ltd., from Taiwan (China), will invest $135 million to establish Foxlink Da Nang, manufacturing high-tech electronic devices such as touch pens, wireless headphones, batteries, charging stations, and electronic circuit boards.

The project will cover 11.35 ha in the high-tech park and is expected to create nearly 2,000 jobs once operational.

The Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and other industrial parks in the central city have granted investment certificates to 16 projects since earlier this year, including four FDI projects.

As of September, the city had attracted 524 investment projects into Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, Da Nang IT Park, and other industrial parks, including 124 FDI projects with total investment capital of over $2 billion.
