Vietnam is leveraging 5G to accelerate AI adoption and secure smarter infrastructure, faster digital transformation, and leadership in regional innovation by 2030.

As of September 2025, the northern province is home to 33 science and technology enterprises, ranked among the top provinces nationwide in terms of quantity.

Prioritized products include large Vietnamese language models and virtual assistants, AI-powered edge-processing cameras, autonomous mobile robots, 5G mobile network systems and devices, and blockchain platforms and application layers.

The country leads the world in three indicators: creative goods exports, high-tech imports, and high-tech exports.
