Hanoi organized a drone light show telling the history of the capital through light and music by the side of West Lake in Tay Ho district on the eve of the Lunar New Year (Tet) on February 9.
The show featured 2,024 drones, the largest number used for such a performance in Southeast Asia.
The aerial part of the performance took place about 400 meters above the surface of the lake, while the stage covered an area of 4.5 ha.
Chairman of Tay Ho District People’s Committee Nguyen Dinh Khuyen said that with the most advanced technology the show was expected to offer an attractive performance for both local people and tourists.
As part of the show, a high-altitude fireworks was also set off nearby from midnight to 12.15am on February 10.
