An exhibition showcasing typical Vietnamese and Thai products opened at APEC Park in centra; Da Nang city on September 26.

This event is part of the ‘Meet Thailand in Da Nang’ initiative, jointly organized by Da Nang city, Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.

Deputy Chairwoman of the city’s People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, highlighted that the exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese localities to promote their products and for businesses from both countries to showcase their strengths, thereby enhancing bilateral trade.

“This is a promising starting point for organizing larger-scale trade connections and exhibitions in the future,” she noted.

Ms. Thi also expressed her enthusiasm for Thai goods. “Vietnamese people in general, and Da Nang residents in particular, are fond of Thai products. We hope that Thai localities and businesses will actively participate in international fairs and exhibitions in Vietnam, and we encourage Vietnamese businesses to do the same,” she stated.

According to the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs, the city has established relationships with the Thai provinces of Mukdahan, Nakhon Phanom, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.
