The government has asked the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to complete the draft Land Law (amended) for submission before April 1.
The ministry was directed to focus all resources on collecting and fully explaining all public feedback on the draft.
As of March 13, it had received nearly 8,000 comments from individuals and organizations, according to the ministry.
Feedback has been collected in all 63 cities and provinces.
Opinions focused on issues such as land acquisition and compensation, support, and resettlement policies; land taxes; the management and use of land types; land allocation, land lease, and changes in land use purpose; land fund development; and land registration, certification, and administrative procedures, among others.
