Hai Phong plans to build five IPs

Northern Hai Phong Port City plans to build five more industrial parks (IPs) with a total area of more than 1,793 ha.

The Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board has proposed the Ministry of Planning and Investment to submit the project’s investment policy to the Government for approval.

They include Nam Trang Cat IP, covering 200.3 ha, Thuy Nguyen IP 319.6 ha, Trang Due III IP 687 ha, Giang Bien II 350ha and Vinh Quang IP (first phase) 226.01 ha.

Hai Phong currently has 14 IPs with a total area of over 6,000 ha. Of which, more than 4,000 ha is used for industrial production.

The city also plans to establish a Southern Economic Zone, covering 20,000 ha. It will accommodate airport, seaports, free trade zone, industrial center, urban area and logistic center, to attract more investors.
