The Hanoi People's Committee has approved a detailed 1/500 scale plan for the Me Linh Park and Sports Complex in Me Linh Commune.

The planned site has a total area of nearly 605,000 sq.m and is divided into three main functional zones: a greenery and park zone, a culture and sports zone, and a service zone.

The Greenery and Park Zone covering over 165,000 sq.m, accounts for 27.28% of the total area. This zone will feature plazas, flower gardens, walking paths, and themed areas.

The Culture and Sports Zone covers over 325,400 sq.m, making up 53.8% of the area. This zone will include various sports facilities integrated with landscaped spaces, such as a stadium, an indoor arena, outdoor sports fields, and water sports facilities. These will form an interconnected, multi-functional sports complex, along with cultural venues like a children's palace and an event center.

The Service Zone covers 114,400 sq.m, accounting for 18.91% of the area. This will include commercial facilities, services, and accommodation to support the sports activities and events held within the complex.
