The People’s Committee of central Hue City and the Swiss-Vietnamese Economic Forum (SVEF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation in economics, trade, investment, education, cultural exchange, and other mutually beneficial areas.
The signing, held on November 4 on the sidelines of the Swiss–Viet Economic Forum 2025 in central Da Nang City, marks a new step in connecting Hue with international partners in innovation, education, healthcare, sustainable tourism, and green growth.
Under the MoU, both sides will establish and strengthen a sustainable and effective partnership, supporting cooperation between Hue City and Swiss partners—particularly cantons, cities, and economic and academic organizations. They will also collaborate to organize events within the SVEF framework in Hue and other localities across Vietnam, and promote direct investment, bilateral trade, and business connections.
Key areas of cooperation include innovation and smart city development, startup support, education and tourism promotion, and cultural exchange. The two parties also agreed to enhance human resource training, implement scholarship and exchange programs, and share information and experience in areas of mutual interest.
