State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) will focus on auditing key national transport projects in the mid-term public investment plan during 2024.

This is part of its 2024 audit plan discussed at the 26th session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee in Hanoi on September 12.

Projects include the Eastern North-South Expressway in the 2021-2025 period, the Long Thanh International Airport in southern Dong Nai province, and construction of ring roads and inter-regional transport projects.

SAV will also audit reports on State budget settlement from ministries, sectors, and localities, and the implementation of the socio-economic recovery and development program and the government program on thrift practice and waste prevention.
