The Ministry of Science and Technology announced five initiatives at the "Future of Science, Technology, Innovation, and National Digital Transformation" Forum on August 29.
The Science and Technology Exchange Platform was launched, featuring a hybrid online and offline model accessible at https://techmartvietnam.vn. This platform is designed to connect the supply and demand for technology, foster the transfer and commercialization of research outcomes, and contribute to the development of a transparent and efficient S&T market.
The National Science and Technology Initiatives Portal, located at www.sangkien.gov.vn, serves as a hub for receiving, sharing, and disseminating innovative ideas from all segments of the population – including businesses, research institutes, universities, and experts both domestically and internationally.
National Strategic Technology list follows the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1131/QD-TTg issued on June 12, 2025 on the List of National Strategic Technologies and Products, encompassing 11 strategic technology groups. This timely action further concretizes the directive on strategic technologies and is one of the core contents identified in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
The year 2025 marks a significant renewal for Techfest Vietnam, the country's largest innovation startup event. For the first time, Techfest 2025 will adopt an open model, combining outdoor stages, experiential spaces along streets, and in-depth sessions within auditoriums. This expansion of space not only helps visually promote startup products and services but also connects creative businesses with the public, creating more opportunities for community engagement, consumer access, and investor interaction.
