The 33rd International Trade Fair Vietnam Expo 2024, which opened on April 3 at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center (ICE), is now closing its doors. Items displayed at the Made in Moscow stand brought together the achievements of 14 Moscow companies from various industries.
Moscow is the leader in exports among Russian regions, and Vietnam is a crucial market for businesses, said Mr. Vitaly Stepanov, CEO of the Moscow Export Center.
“The Moscow Export Center has been deploying a wide range of tools to strengthen business ties with Vietnam,” he said. “With facilitation from the Moscow Export Center, 100+ businesses have already taken part in negotiations with partners from Vietnam, and the opening of the Made in Moscow stand at Vietnam Expo has marked yet another milestone in this direction.”
“Moreover, an ambassador for exporters of Moscow has commenced operations in Vietnam recently. Representatives of Moscow business in other countries help search for proper contacts, personally support deals, and accelerate the export path for Moscow companies.”
Many exhibitors at the Moscow stand are renowned far beyond Russia. The list of veteran exporters include Intron Plus, the manufacturer of NDT equipment. The company’s sales geography covers nearly all continents and encompasses China, the US, India, Indonesia, Peru, South Korea, the UAE, the UK, Finland, Namibia, Brazil, Türkiye, Thailand, Malaysia, Serbia, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Venezuela.
Global demand for confectionery products from the Confectionery Factory Pobeda is likewise impressive. Its products are familiar among consumers in countries such as Yemen, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran, Israel, Bulgaria, the US, Germany, China, the Philippines, Cuba, and the CIS.
The Made in Moscow stand has display areas from manufacturers of equipment and electronics. personal protective equipment from NPK Pozhkhimzashchita, laboratory and medical equipment from Inpren, solutions from biotechnology company Algimed Techno, and relay protection and automation systems from Tekvel in electric power industry facilities.
Another participant at the stand is the manufacturer of Faier-Mark fire barriers, which supplies products to Türkiye, Egypt, Suriname, Angola, Bangladesh, and Tanzania.
Sputnix, the private space company of the Sytronics JSC, has presented mock-up models of 3U CubeSat AIS and Orbicraft 3D, a nanosatellite kit. The first is a mock-up model of spacecraft for AIS, which is a system for the automatic identification of vessels, determining their dimensions, course, and other data.
AIS ensures security of private yachts and small craft, but is also used in other types of transport such as railways or freight in the regions where ground communications are absent or hampered. The OrbiCraft kit, meanwhile, is applied to teach the basics of programming and design to school, college, and university students and helps them practice spacecraft assembly.
Sputnix has been exporting products to Belarus, Malaysia, Nigeria, Montenegro, and Kazakhstan. Through its presence at the Vietnam Expo trade fair, the company has outlined its intention to gain a strong foothold in the Vietnamese market.
IT solutions from Moscow companies traditionally enjoy demand abroad. The stand also offered Loymax solutions, a platform for the management of loyalty programs and the automation of marketing communications for chain retailing, engineered by Loymax.
Moreover, an ecosystem of services for organising conferences, congresses, retreats, festivals, educational, sporting events and exhibitions was presented by NaviConf.
Cloud4Y, another company at the stand, has been supplying its infrastructure and software cloud solutions for business digitalization in CIS states and MENA countries since 2015, as well as to Türkiye and the EU, and presented products to potential customers at Vietnam Expo.
“We have been expanding our company’s footprint in overseas markets and would like to evaluate the investment appeal of Vietnam for the construction of a new processing site that would offer cloud services in the country,” said Ms. Maria Alekseeva, Marketing Director of the company.
“At the Hanoi trade fair we displayed IaaS cloud servers, GPU cloud, solutions for emergency recovery, backup and data storage, database hosting, DBaaS SaaS solutions, plus protection from DDoS attacks, secure VPN, WAF, NGFW, DLP solutions, and other products from our company,” she added.
The multi-industry exhibition also showcased cosmetic products from Moscow companies including Krassa-Cosmetics, Geltek-Medica, as well as Leistern JSC, the manufacturer of injectable cosmetic preparations and professional care cosmeceutics.
Leistern cosmetology complexes for the face and body include biorevitalizers, revitalizers, recovering products, repairing agents based on DNA/PDRN, chemical peelings, lipolytics, as well as products for lifting and solving of trichological problems. The company’s professional anti-age care cosmetics work to boost and extend the effect after injection therapy and to solve specific problems like dark circles under the eyes, acne, and couperosis.
“More than 6,000 clinics, dermatologists, and cosmetologists across Russia have partnered with us,” said Mr. Andrey Smushkin, Export Manager at the company. “For some ten years, we have successfully been selling our products in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. And we discern steady interest for our products, both from the consumers and professionals in the beauty industry.”
“We are now engaged in talks about deliveries to Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Iran, and Kuwait. We are keen on the entire Southeast Asia market, and particularly Vietnam. At the Hanoi exhibition we were focused on interaction with potential distributors of our products.”
