Nghe An province in central Vietnam recorded export revenue of $2.33 billion in the first seven months of 2025, representing a 32.69% year-on-year increase, including $350 million recorded in July, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
On the import side, the total value reached nearly $2 billion in the seven-month period, marking a significant 49.93% increase year-on-year.
The province’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) also showed robust growth, rising 15.77% compared to the same period last year.
Retail activity remained strong, with total retail sales of consumer goods and services estimated at VND102.2 trillion (approximately $3.88 billion), up 14.8% year-on-year.
The tourism sector has made a notable recovery, with 7.45 million visitors welcomed during the period. Total tourism revenue reached VND22.8 trillion (about $866 million).
The figures underscore the province’s continued economic momentum across key sectors including exports, industry, retail, and tourism.
