Danish jewelry manufacturer Pandora inaugurated a $150-million crafting facility at VSIP 3 Industrial Park in Ho Chi Minh City on October 1, marking its first crafting plant outside Thailand and its largest manufacturing site globally.

The state-of-the-art facility features an annual capacity of up to 60 million jewelry pieces, expanding Pandora’s total global production capacity by approximately 50 percent. Operating fully on renewable energy and designed to LEED Gold green building standards, the plant emphasizes responsible manufacturing.

Prior to this expansion, Pandora manufactured all its products across three facilities in Thailand, where it currently employs around 13,000 workers. In 2025, the brand sold 112 million pieces of jewelry globally.

Mr. Jeerasage Puranasamiddhi, Chief Supply Officer of Pandora and Managing Director of Pandora Production Vietnam, noted that the investment leverages local craftsmanship. The plant is expected to employ up to 7,000 workers at full capacity.

“We are building on decades of crafting expertise from Thailand and combining it with new capabilities and talent in Vietnam,” said Ms. Berta de Pablos-Barbier, CEO of Pandora Group. “This investment provides us with capacity, flexibility, and innovation to support future growth.”

H.E. Ms. Lina Gandløse Hansen, Ambassador of Denmark to Vietnam, highlighted that Pandora’s investment - alongside major Danish projects such as Lego - underscores confidence in Vietnam as a long-term manufacturing hub under the Vietnam-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership.

The ambassador also revealed that Denmark will officially open its Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City on December 1, 2026, to further deepen bilateral trade and investment ties.

Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, commended the project for strengthening the city’s role in global supply chains, creating thousands of jobs, and promoting green manufacturing standards across the region.
