Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has directed relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to take measures to promote quality of life and ensure social security for citizens and workers during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

Under a directive sent on January 14, Prime Minister Chinh asked them to instruct units and enterprises to proactively implement solutions to overcome difficulties and to provide better care to employees, including the timely payment of salaries and bonuses.

It is necessary to pay attention to helping workers experiencing significant income reductions or job losses due to natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, or the contraction of business, according to the directive.

Proactive measures are needed to maintain the labor supply chain and promptly meet human resources needs by enterprises prior to and after Tet.
