Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has advised south-central Khanh Hoa province to tap its potential and advantages to become an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign investors, particularly in services, tourism, and the maritime economy.
Speaking at a conference on April 2 on investment promotion and the announcement of the province’s master plan, the Prime Minister said it boasts unique potential and competitive advantages for rapid and sustainable economic development.
He also asked the province to address difficulties facing businesses in gaining access to capital and land and to boost administrative reform.
Khanh Hoa opened its portal on investment promotion at the conference, at https://ipa.khanhhoa.gov.vn.
Provincial authorities also presented 25 decisions given in-principle approval to investment plans, along with investment licenses, MoUs, and cooperative agreements to domestic and foreign businesses operating in tourism, urban development, industrial infrastructure, seaports, aviation, education and training, and agriculture, forestry, and fishery product processing, which are worth tens of billions of VND.
