Khanh Hoa province now hosts 192 foreign-invested projects with a total registered capital exceeding $7.21 billion, ranking 15th nationwide in terms of FDI attraction.
Provincial leaders awarded investment approval decisions for eight large and diverse projects across various sectors as urban development, industry and energy, healthcare and education, and tourism and resorts.
The industrial park benefits from its prime location near the Van Phong seaport system and key expressways, such as Van Phong - Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot.
Under the latest adjustments to development planning for Nha Trang to 2040, the beach city will become a national and international marine tourism hub.
Under Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP issued by the government on March 21, by 2030, south-central Khanh Hoa province will become a city directly under the Central Government on the basis of bringing into full play the potential and advantages of its sea area, becoming a smart, sustainable city with an international identity and connectivity. It is also expected to become a center of international sea tourism and services.
