Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Brainport Eindhoven in the Netherlands on December 11, which is considered the “Silicon Valley of Europe” and located in Eindhoven city, North Brabant province.

He held working sessions with leaders from the province, Brainport Eindhoven, and major enterprises.

In a meeting with the Vice Governor of North Brabant Martijn van Gruijthuijsen and others, Prime Minister Chinh said there are three models that Vietnam hopes to learn from the Netherlands, the airport, seaport, and Brainport models, noting that the country has gone from an agricultural country to an industrialized country based on innovation and smart services.

He called on the Netherlands to help Vietnam build an innovation and startup center in Hanoi, similar to the Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven city, from initial planning, creating mechanisms and policies, and mobilizing resources for its development to training and attracting high-quality human resources.

The Prime Minister also met with executives of Dutch enterprises to discuss innovation and high-tech manufacturing.
