Party General Secretary To Lam and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung witnessed the exchange of 10 documents on cooperation in energy, education, science and technology in Seoul on August 11, as part of the former’s State visit to the Republic of Korea from August 10-13. 

According to a report from the Government News, these documents include:

1 - The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on science and technology cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam and the Ministry of Science, ICT of South Korea;

2 - The MoU on cooperation in the field of copyright and related rights between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea;

3 - The MoU on strengthening cooperation in renewable energy between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea;

 4 - The MoU on dispatch and reception of workers to work in South Korea under the EPS program (Employment Permit System for foreign workers in South Korea) between the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Employment and Labor of South Korea;

5 - The MoU on cooperation and technical assistance related to central banking operations between the State Bank of Vietnam and the Bank of Korea;

6-  The MoU on cooperation between the State Securities Commission of Vietnam and the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea;

7 - The Agreement amending and supplementing the MoU between the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education of South Korea;

8 - The MoU on fisheries cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of South Korea;

9 - The MoU on human resource development in the field of nuclear energy between the Vietnam National Energy Industry Corporation and the Korea Electric Power Corporation; and

10 - The MoU on strengthening cooperation between the People's Committee of Da Nang City (Vietnam) and the Government of Pyeongtaek City.
