The Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council has recently approved investment plans for two significant transport projects, with total capital estimated at more than VND1.22 trillion (over $48 million).

The projects include the renovation and upgrading of Provincial Road 330 in Ba Che district and Provincial Road 327 connecting Dong Trieu town to Uong Bi city.

The Provincial Road 330 project, which spans 23.5 km from Ba Che town to Provincial Road 342, is set to receive a maximum investment of VND990 billion ($39 million) from the provincial budget.

This project aims to develop a synchronized and modern transportation system, linking Ba Che district's center with mountainous areas and further with Bac Giang and Lang Son provinces, as well as with Ha Long city, via the upgraded Provincial Road 342.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Road 327 project, with an allocated budget of no more than VND230 billion (over $9 million), will cover a length of approximately 25.2 km.

The project focuses on renovating, widening, and upgrading the road to ensure a 9-meter wide base with two lanes.

Both projects are scheduled to be implemented from 2024 to 2027.
