A shipment of bird’s nest products from a Vietnamese company was exported to China for the first time via the Bac Luan II Border Gate in Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province, the Voice of Vietnam has reported.

Consisting of ready-to-eat canned bird’s nest and refined bird’s nests, the shipment was exported to China on November 20 by the AVANEST Vietnam Nutrition Joint Stock Company through the Mong Cai Customs Sub-Department.

This marks the beginning of cooperation in and the expansion of Vietnam’s official bird’s nest exports to the potential market, contributing to promoting and creating major opportunities for Vietnam’s bird’s nest farming and bird’s nest processing industries.

The first batch of Vietnamese bird’s nests were officially exported to China through the Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Lang Son province one year ago, following a protocol signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the General Administration of Customs of China on November 9, 2022.
