Rail&Cons Industry Week 2026, initiated by the Vietnam Society of Civil Engineers (VSCE), will take place at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi from November 11 to 13.

The event will focus on showcasing technologies, solutions, and business networking opportunities in the fields of high-speed rail, urban rail transit, and transportation infrastructure.

Held under the patronage of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Hanoi People’s Committee, the event aims to create a collaborative platform connecting government authorities, project owners, industrial enterprises, technology providers, experts, and research institutions from Vietnam and abroad.

According to Chairman of VSCE, Mr. Tran Dinh Tung, participation will extend beyond railway construction firms and equipment manufacturers to include technology solution providers specializing in signaling systems, telecommunications, artificial intelligence (AI), digital twins, data platforms, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Conference sessions will address key topics such as signaling and telecommunications technologies, infrastructure and data management, financing for metro projects, high-quality workforce development, domestic supply chains, and the localization of railway products and technologies.

Rather than serving solely as a technology showcase, the organizers are designing discussions around specific industry challenges. For example, companies with experience in signaling systems, telecommunications, and metro operations from countries such as China, Germany, and France, as well as other developed economies, will have opportunities to exchange expertise, propose solutions, and seek Vietnamese partners for project implementation.

This approach is intended to strengthen connections between international technology companies and local contractors and manufacturers, helping to gradually develop a supply network for Vietnam’s railway projects.

In addition, an applied science conference will focus on transforming research outcomes into practical products and solutions. Vietnamese scientists are expected to exchange experiences with experts from Thailand and Hong Kong (China) on research processes, product development, and technology application partnerships.

The exhibition area will provide a venue for businesses to showcase technologies, equipment, and solutions supporting the construction, management, and operation of railway systems. Key highlights will include signaling, telecommunications, data technologies, AI applications, and engineering simulation technologies.

Alongside the exhibition, the Innovation Challenge competition will be organized to encourage innovative ideas and technological solutions that address real-world challenges facing the railway industry.
