Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked relevant ministries and agencies to urgently review and remove obstacles in legal document system to promote development.

Chairing the second meeting of the steering committee for reviewing and untangling knots in the legal document system, PM Chinh said amending and supplementing laws must focus on urgent and truly necessary issues, aiming to create breakthroughs and resolve difficulties towards promoting growth, controlling inflation, stabilizing the economy, and ensuring its major balances.

Attention should be paid to decentralization, administrative reform, and the elimination of the “ask-give” mechanism, thus reducing inconvenience and harassment for people and businesses, and perfecting the legal system, he said.

The PM urged ministries and sectors to strive to complete the legal documents for submission to the 15th National Assembly's 8th session that is scheduled to take place in October.
