The retail and services market in Ho Chi Minh City is bustling once more as the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday approaches.
The city’s Department of Industry and Trade reported that 46 commercial centers, 237 supermarkets, and 3,012 convenience stores are operating in the southern city. The total volume of food and essential items supplied to the market stands at around 1,800 tons a day.
The city has prepared some 34,000 tons of products for people during Tet.
Many production businesses, commercial centers, and supermarkets have introduced promotional programs to attract customers.
Co.opmarket and Co.opXtra supermarkets have offered discounts of 10-50 per cent on more than 12,000 products.
