According to a report from Plan International released on November 5, Vietnam is among the leading countries in Asia in ensuring the participation of girls in political and policy life. It also leads the region in law and policy and is second in representation and political voice for girls.

An estimated 70-75 per cent of businesses and employees have now returned to work around Vietnam, with some localities seeing a rate of over 90 per cent. If the pandemic is controlled and the vaccination campaign is sufficiently widespread, between the end of the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter of 2022, labor and employment is likely to have recovered to a level similar to before the outbreak.

Investment in infrastructure at social housing in industrial parks (IPs) around Vietnam is inconsistent. Developing housing for workers at industrial parks is becoming a more pressing matter, especially as the pandemic has not yet ended.
