Leading e-commerce platform Shopee has partnered with the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) to launch a new initiative aimed at helping local businesses embrace digitalization.
Online exports through e-commerce provider Shopee benefit from simplified procedures and operations, providing equal international opportunities for Vietnamese micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
According to the Information Monitoring and Analysis System on the network environment (Reputa), Shopee and Lazada continued to hold the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in popular e-commerce platforms on social networks in Vietnam in September. Vo So and Viettel Store both appeared in the top 10 for the first time. Despite the difficulties posed by Covid-19, Reputa said, e-commerce platforms still grew strongly and are being widely used.
In the August rankings from Viettel’s Information Monitoring and Analysis System on the network environment (Reputa), Shopee continued to hold top position among e-commerce platforms on social networks. Vietnam’s e-commerce market is growing rapidly and is forecast to reach $39 billion by 2025.
