Southern city’s 2024 public investment allocation stands at nearly $3.3 billion.

According to the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Hanoi created over 168,000 jobs in the first nine months of 2022. The Department also approved more than 8,400 positions for foreigners working in the capital, issuing more than 7,110 new work permits for foreigners and reissuing more than 600.

According to FiinGroup, credit increased strongly in the first half of the year but the average completion of annual profit plans for 2022 in the banking industry stands at just 51.5 per cent. Twenty-six of the 27 listed banks have set a target of after-tax profits growing more than 33 per cent, but their ability to complete plans is relatively low without additional credit lines.
