Comprehensive socio-economic growth and a lack of high-end accommodation have made Quy Nhon city in south-central Binh Dinh province a bright spot for real estate investment. Famous for its scenic spots, Quy Nhon has received a great deal of investment to turn it into the economic nucleus of the region and an international tourist destination.

The leader of the Binh Dinh Provincial Department of Planning and Investment has said that the south-central province will create the best possible conditions for startups and will strongly support investors in all stages. It is expected that there will be “unicorns” emerging from the province.

The Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has issued a Directive on strengthening tax management of the real estate business. Information on real estate transactions will be published on the south-central province’s Electronic Communications Portal to easily monitor, manage, and prevent violations.

South-central Binh Dinh province, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will organize a series of events on June 24 and 25 connecting the supply and demand of Vietnamese goods for businesses in central and south-central provinces. The highlight will be an exhibition of agricultural products, One Commune, One Product (OCOP) goods, and typical products from cities and provinces at 400 booths.

Joining Da Nang city and Kien Giang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, and Quang Ninh provinces, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh province will welcome international tourists in the second phase of Vietnam’s reopening plan. The third phase, from the second quarter of 2022, will see a full reopening to international visitors.

South-central Binh Dinh province will focus on building 41 industrial clusters on a total area of more than 600 ha in the 2020-2025 period, with priority being given to the processing of agriculture, forestry, and fishery products on 472 ha.

South-central Binh Dinh province is seeking investors in a number of new residential projects in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, with total investment of more than VND2 trillion ($87.71 million).

The Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has signed Decision No. 3443 promulgating the criteria for the auction of land use rights to implement a land area project in Cat Tien ward in the south-central province’s Nhon Hoi Economic Zone. The land area is nearly 8.6 ha, with total investment of nearly VND650 billion ($28.35 million).

Following a directive from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the conversion of forested land for use in a high-end resort project, the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the province’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to take prime responsibility and review the related dossier and submit it to the People’s Committee before August 30. The province previously reviewed two resort projects - Casa Marina Resort and Thien Khanh Resort - both of which also needed to convert forested land.
