Talking with Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha during a working breakfast in Hanoi on May 27, French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed France’s support for Vietnam through a €500 million concessional loan.

The disbursement rate was only 4.6% in the first four months of 2025, significantly lower than the national average disbursement rate for public investment of approximately 8% during the first quarter.
