Exports to Russia and Ukraine down
Vietnam’s trade with Russia stood at just over $1 billion in the first two months of the year, accounting for less than 1 per cent of its total in the period. Exports were just over $180 million in February, down 44.46 per cent compared to January and 12.45 per cent year-on-year. Similarly, Vietnam’s trade with Ukraine in the first two months was around $100 million, or 0.1 per cent of its total, with exports in February at nearly $13 million, down 60.3 per cent compared to January and 32.8 per cent year-on-year.
