The country leads the world in three indicators: creative goods exports, high-tech imports, and high-tech exports.
Vietnam ranks 44th out of 132 countries and territories in global innovation index
For 14 consecutive years, Vietnam has consistently achieved higher innovation results compared to its level of development.
Vietnam at 48th in Global Innovation Index 2022
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) released the Global Innovation Index (GII) Report 2022 on September 30, which ranked Vietnam at 48th out of 132 countries and territories and in the group of countries to have achieved the greatest progress in the past decade. In particular, it states that Vietnam leads the world in importing high technologies, while the country also posted a higher ranking in terms of output.
