Sugar businesses grappling with problems
Of the 41 refineries in Vietnam’s sugar industry, only 24 are currently operating, with the remaining 17 having ceased production or gone bankrupt. Members of the Vietnam Sugarcane and Sugar Association (VSSA) have agreed to focus on implementing key tasks in the next crop year and subsequent years.
