Trade down in August, up in 8M
Imports and exports totaled $53.7 billion in August, down 5.8 per cent compared to July, with exports standing at $26.2 billion and imports $27.5 billion, down 6 per cent and 5.5 per cent, respectively. Import-export value in the first eight months of 2021 rose 27.2 per cent year-on-year.
