Significant potential remains to boost cooperation in the field, December 5 meeting in Hanoi hears.

The Da Nang City People’s Committee coordinated with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai and Indian partners to organize a conference on September 28 connecting Indian businesses with industries and businesses in the central city. Mr. Anant Singhania, President of the Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC), emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation between businesses on the two sides. Mr. Ajoykaant Ruia, Chairman of the Indo-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IVCCI), told the gathering that a cooperative forum between Vietnamese and Indian businesses is expected to be organized in Da Nang next year.

Major interest has been shown by Indian enterprises hoping to invest or expand in Vietnam’s automotive sector.
