The Ministry of Transport (MoT) has proposed that regular international flights resume from the first quarter of 2022, with a frequency of four flights a week carrying about 12,000 visitors. The resumption will contribute to removing the difficulties facing aviation businesses and promote economic recovery.
Vietnam Airlines is planning to reopen international flights to Asian, European, and Australian destinations to serve both Vietnamese and foreigners needing to travel to and from Vietnam between July and October. The national flag carrier will keep an eye on the market in order to determine a suitable plan in the period to follow, thus complying with pandemic prevention regulations.
