A number of EU logistics providers are now operating in Vietnam, such as DHL Group, Kuehne + Nagel, and DB Schenker from Germany and Maersk from Denmark. This brings many opportunities for cooperation and development to Vietnamese logistics enterprises, but also creates a competitive challenge, meaning domestic businesses need to improve their capacity.

Supply of real estate for logistics limited

Vietnam’s logistics sector has been developing strongly, leading to high demand for logistics real estate. Timely solutions are needed, however, as supply is limited. According to a report on the emerging market logistics index, published by Agility, Vietnam currently ranks 11th among emerging countries and 4th in ASEAN.
