Addressing a national conference held on January 13, the Party Chief  stressed that the Party and State always consider science and technology as decisive factors and the foundation for the sustainable development of the nation.

The election took place at the meeting of  the Party Central Committee on August 3 morning.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong passed away at 1:38pm on July 19, 2024, and his funeral will be held as a national mourning.
