Phan Thiet Airport investment raised to $167mln
Planning for the Phan Thiet Airport project in south-central Binh Thuan province has been adjusted, with investment of VND3.8 trillion ($167.1 million) now needed. Flights will connect Phan Thiet with Hanoi and Hai Phong city and Quang Ninh province in the north, with the airport acting as a catalyst for Binh Thuan’s real estate market. It is expected that it will be able to welcome 6-8 million visitors a year after completion in 2022.
