The proposal by the Ministry of Industry and Trade is based on the current state of the power development process.
Pre-feasibility study for Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway being appraised
The Ministry of Planning and Investment is consulting with the interdisciplinary appraisal council on a pre-feasibility study for the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway project, connecting the two provinces of Dong Nai and Lam Dong. Total investment is about VND17.2 trillion ($720.65 million), to come from central budget capital, Lam Dong’s budget capital, investor equity, and other sources.
Proposal made to upgrade Vinh International Airport
A proposal has been made for a new passenger terminal to be built at Vinh International Airport in north-central Nghe An province with a capacity of 12 million passengers a year and also an additional runway. Current capacity is only 2 million passengers a year.
NA comment sought on adjusted medium-term public investment plan
On August 9, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, on behalf of the government, asked the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments on three matters, including the addition of more than VND4 trillion ($172 million) from foreign capital and unallocated central budget funds to the medium-term public investment plan in the 2021-2025 period.
