Vietnam to develop 1 million ha of low-carbon, high-quality rice by 2030
Project to be implemented in Can Tho city and 11 provinces in the Mekong Delta.
Philippines Vietnam’s largest rice export market
As of the end of June, Vietnam had exported 1.6 million tons of rice to the Philippines, or nearly half of its total rice exports, earning $760 million in revenue. It is forecast that such exports will continue to increase, as the demand for rice in the Philippines is rising.
