Wind power plant in Soc Trang goes into operation
The first phase of Wind Power Plant No. 7 in Vinh Chau commune in the Mekong Delta’s Soc Trang province, on nearly 90 ha of sea area and 3 ha of land and with a designed capacity of 120 MW and total investment of nearly VND5.7 trillion ($250.3 million), was put into operation on February 15. The plant was connected to the national power grid last October.
