The government will focus on implementing the pandemic prevention and control program and the program for socio-economic recovery and development during 2022, with three main tasks: restoring and promoting production and business, boosting exports, and accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital and mobilizing all resources to develop infrastructure, especially strategic infrastructure.

At a regular conference of the government, the Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment spoke of Vietnam’s socio-economic recovery and development program, which features five main groups of solution.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting on October 24 discussing a draft socio-economic recovery and development program. The program emphasizes requirements such as strengthening national governance capacity, perfecting institutions, boosting administrative reform, promoting decentralization, and flexibly adjusting monetary policy.
