Telco profits down sharply
According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the revenue of telecommunications services in 2021 will reach nearly VND131 trillion ($5.7 billion), up 2 per cent compared to 2020, while the profit of telecommunications businesses will reach only VND43 trillion ($1.8 billion), down 22.8 per cent compared to 2020, due to Covid-19.
