8M State budget in surplus
Total budget revenue stood at nearly VND950 trillion ($41.9 billion) in the first eight months of this year, or 70.5 per cent of the annual estimate. The budget was in surplus to the tune of VND83 trillion ($3.62 billion). Among revenue sources, FDI enterprises, excluding crude oil, contributed VND136 trillion ($6 billion), or 68.6 per cent of the annual estimate.
