Collective economy a major contributor to GDP
There are currently 26,040 cooperatives nationwide, including 18,327 agricultural cooperatives. In the 2016-2020 period, the collective economy and cooperatives directly contributed about 4.8 per cent of national GDP and indirectly over 30 per cent of GDP through the added value of member households.
