Room for improvement in seafood processing
The seafood processing industry has seized upon the trend towards integration over the years, exploiting the advantages of FTAs Vietnam has signed and gradually asserting itself as one of the country’s key export industries. It currently employs 435,000 workers directly and over 4 million indirectly. But it is still considered “weak” compared to other major seafood exporting countries.
